I know we shouldn’t really have favourites, but I’m afraid I have broken the rules for this bowl.

It’s such a lovely round shape but with an elegant narrowing foot at the bottom. Thrown by hand on the potters wheel in this beautiful black porcelain. The inside is clear glazed with a rustic crackled glaze finish.

The outside is mostly left unglazed as raw black porcelain, but with a large clear glaze spot and smaller Water Blue spot on the front. I particularly love the contrast between the porcelain and glaze, and hope you do too,

Completely unique, all my black porcelain vessels and bowls are thrown in a variety of shapes, sizes and finishes, so that no two pieces are identical. A wonderful gift for a special occasion.

Please note that due to the crackle glaze inside this bowl, I would not recommend it be used with food.
