Thrown on the wheel in my new Wiltshire studio, this beautiful black porcelain bottle vase is just the perfect shape to display a few early Spring flowers as they pop up in your garden.

The narrow neck and wider base give the stems room to spread but with plenty of support to stop them falling out too far.

Each of these black porcelain vessels are handmade and completely unique. No two pieces are ever identical - shape, colour, finish or design always vary with each piece - making them wonderful presents to give on a special occasion; knowing your gift is an original.

This vase has unglazed body of smooth black porcelain outside, clear glazed inside, with a pink top section.

The reaction between the porcelain and glazes around the outer edge produces this wonderful rustic finish, which contrasts beautifully with the smooth raw porcelain.
